Ingrid Merckx
From a young age, I have been fascinated by people and their relationship with themselves and their surroundings. I observed the differences in behaviour and soon came to the conclusion that every individual is unique, with their own baggage of happy moments and less pleasant experiences or setbacks, with their talents, challenges and blind spots. And it is precisely because we are all so uniquely different that the world is so colourful. These differences make it enriching and ensure that evolution and innovation are possible.

Life has given me so many “gifts”, which have made my journey of personal development a rich and fulfilling one. Alongside my training – ranging from applied communication to systemic work, emotional parenting, intuitive development, NLP, and coaching in breathing and nutrition – all these experiences have shaped me into the person I am today.

What fascinates me most today is inspiring people, whether individually or as part of a team. I do this mainly for Belgian companies, where I provide support in the areas of personal and team development.
Concepts such as authenticity, open communication, valuing differences, connection and a sense of belonging, growth, and working together to build the future we want will undoubtedly be discussed.
My 30 years of practical experience as a coach, therapist and facilitator have taught me that “I am and exist because the other exists”. Without the other, I cannot truly exist, and the other cannot exist without me either. This is reflected in the “Ubuntu” philosophy (I am because we are). I apply this approach when working with teams and organisations. Everyone is part of a greater whole; everyone has their place and responsibility within that greater whole.
I also prefer a practical approach. Gaining an understanding and insights, and above all gaining experience that you can immediately put to use in your day-to-day professional life.
